Seedling exists to support meaningful human-transformation programs and dialogue. This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the kinds of content, activities, and business categories that are not allowed on the Platform. It applies to every user, whether a participant, Curator, or Space Administrator.
1. Prohibited content and activities
You may not use Seedling to:
- Harass, threaten, bully, or abuse other users, facilitators, or participants.
- Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, or that incites violence against any group.
- Publish content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or that promotes illegal activity.
- Publish sexually explicit or adult content, including in program descriptions, materials, or conversations.
- Impersonate another person, organization, or brand.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other users’ accounts, or any underlying system.
- Upload or distribute malware, viruses, or any code intended to harm or disrupt the Platform.
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect user data without permission.
- Use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) to other users.
2. Restricted business categories
Because Seedling uses Stripe Connect to process payments, the following categories are not allowed for paid programs, in line with Stripe’s restricted business list:
- Financial services that require specific licensing (investment advice, lending, crypto exchange, money transmission).
- Unlicensed medical, psychiatric, or psychological treatment, or sales of regulated medical products.
- Sale of regulated substances (tobacco, nicotine, cannabis, prescription drugs, alcohol without proper licensing).
- Gambling, betting, lotteries, or sweepstakes.
- Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, or “get rich quick” schemes.
- Adult content, escort services, or any form of sexual services.
- Weapons, ammunition, and other items that cannot legally be sold through regular payment processors.
- Content or services promoting hate, self-harm, or violence.
This list is not exhaustive. If in doubt, contact office@prometheusworks.co before offering a program in a gray area.
3. AI use (Seedling AI)
Seedling AI (SAI) is a tool designed to help Curators and participants work with the Platform. You may not use SAI to generate content that violates this Acceptable Use Policy or to attempt to bypass platform controls. Do not share highly sensitive personal, medical, legal, or financial information with SAI expecting specialist advice — SAI is not a substitute for a qualified professional.
4. Reporting abuse
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, report it to office@prometheusworks.co. Include as much detail as you can: the Space or user involved, a description of what happened, and relevant links or screenshots.
5. Enforcement
When we become aware of a violation, we may, at our discretion:
- Remove or hide the offending content.
- Warn or restrict the user or Space.
- Suspend or terminate the account.
- Disconnect the Space’s Stripe Connect integration.
- Report the user or Space to law enforcement where required by law.
